Dreamforce To You - What’s in Store for Dreamforce 2020
As we all know, the year 2020 is not going as planned in any manner, Dreamforce included. For the first time in its 17 year history, Dreamforce will be held virtually. While there are negatives, and understandable disappointment overall, in a virtual Dreamforce, there are a few key positives that everyone should be excited about!
In Dreamforce history, tickets prices have deterred many excited, passionate members of the Salesforce Ecosystem from attending. This year, with a fully virtual event, Dreamforce will be entirely free of cost. Additionally, cramming so much knowledge and networking into three full days with very little sleep is a thing of the past (at least for this year). This year, Dreamforce will kick off on December 2nd with a virtual keynote hosted by Marc Benioff (Salesforce Chair & CEO). Additionally, a new segment, DreamTX, will run from December 14–17. This is for Salesforce professionals to learn from one another in a “space dedicated to content, demos, luminary sessions, and a whole lot of Trailblazer love” according to Salesforce’s home page for Dreamforce to you. With Dreamforce spanning over more days than in prior Dreamforce history, there is greater flexibility in scheduling for those looking to attend any of the events.
As for the content provided this year, Salesforce has shared four overarching themes and topics:
Customer Success & Innovation
Opening keynote broadcast
Customer 360 innovations
Inspirational customer success & special guests
Relevance & Reinvention
Personalized experiences built for your company
Customer 360 tailored for you
Knowledge sharing with peer-to-peer advice
Learning & Community
Expert-led sessions & hands-on workshops for every Trailblazer
Learn new Salesforce skills
Connect with the Trailblazer Community
Togetherness & Giving Back
Health & wellness
Giving back opportunities
Entertainment & fun
While this isn’t the Dreamforce we all hoped for, we’re happy to still have the opportunity to continue to learn, grow and share in the ecosystem.
What are you looking forward to most in this year’s Dreamforce To You?
